Amanda Holmes completed her Masters in Public Health Capstone project in the Gibbons Lab, working on a clinical research protocol regarding maternal and infant microbiomes.  She has over 13 years of experience working in clinical research. Most recently, she worked on enteric and diarrheal disease initiatives in low and middle income countries. She obtained her first Masters degree in Nutrition, and hopes to combine her degrees to continue her research focus on understanding the gut microbiome and its influences on human health.
